My name is Audrey and I enjoy sharing recipes and talking about food.
After six years of being vegetarian, I became vegan in 2014. Driven by a deep interest in the nutritional benefits of a plant-based diet, I earned a Plant Based Nutrition certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies through eCornell in 2015. I then went on to earn the Professional Plant Based certification from Rouxbe Cooking School in early 2016 so I could create more delicious recipes.
In addition to recipes, you will find food-related information here, such as nutritional analyses, comparisons of similar foods, and reviews of kitchen products. Check out the “Edible Scoops” menu.
While the nutritional aspect of food interests me, I also can appreciate an occasional mouth-watering, nutritionally-void indulgence! I often give tips on how to modify recipes to make them healthier or more diverse.
Topics that don’t involve food occasionally strike my fancy and I enjoy sharing those as well… these topics I have coined as “Inedible Scoops.”
Aside from cooking, baking, and writing about food, I enjoy fictional writing and reading.
