I haven’t made any new year’s resolutions because I’m too impatient to wait for a new year. When I resolve to do something, I want (need) to get started at once. Having said that, this post is a bit off my usual schedule because I have an exciting Edible Scoop announcement!
Edible Scoop is now vegan!
After six years of vegetarianism, I transitioned to a vegan lifestyle. Once I made the decision, I couldn’t wait to get started. It has been a few months now and I feel amazing and am incredibly pleased with my decision. Naturally, Edible Scoop is now vegan as well.
FAQs (that I made up):
Q) Why did Edible Scoop have a bit of a delay becoming vegan if it’s been a few months for Audrey?
A) That’s simply because I had several posts in the hopper.
Q) What about all the Edible Scoop recipes dated prior to 2015?
A) I have worked on adding notes for vegan modifications to many of the recipes. In addition, some of the past recipes are accidentally vegan. Do a search on Edible Scoop for “vegan” to see a list of vegan friendly recipes.
Q) Is your logo still appropriate?
A) Yes. The ice cream in my logo was made with coconut milk. I’ll share the recipe someday.
Q) How will Edible Scoop get all of its nutrients?
A) Thank you for your concern. Edible Scoop is a website and mostly craves visitors… so please visit often.
Q) But won’t vegan recipes be flavorless and boring?
A) No, the recipes will contain flavors and beautiful colors.
Q) Did a cat supervise the writing of this announcement?
A) Yes. The majority of the content on Edible Scoop is written under the supervision of my cat. While he’s not a vegan, he’s pawsitively supportive of my vegan lifestyle.
