Spicy Red Cabbage

This salad is an excellent way to add a splash of color to your dinner table. If you like things spicy, don’t hesitate to increase the Sriracha sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/8 cup olive oil
  • 1/8 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 head red cabbage, cored and chopped or shredded
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Combine first five ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Drizzle oil mixture over cabbage and stir.
  3. Sprinkle cabbage with sesame seeds.
  4. Serve with additional Sriracha.

Notes

  • Vegetarian and vegan
  • Can also be steamed or sautéed before serving, if desired.
